Morris Monye is the Founder and CEO of Mo Credits Limited, a fast-growing fintech company focused on providing microloans and accessible financial services to underserved communities and salary earners across Nigeria. Since launching in March 2021, Mo Credits has achieved remarkable growth under his leadership, powered by strategic marketing, innovative technology, and a strong commitment to financial inclusion.
During the 2023 Nigerian elections, Morris convened and led the Super Volunteers for Peter Obi, a nationwide grassroots movement made up of over 700 support groups and a Twitter community of more than 7,000 members. Together with his team, he mobilized young Nigerians to take part in the electoral process and advocate for transparency, accountability, and good governance. He also spearheaded the media and digital strategy for Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour’s gubernatorial campaign in Lagos under the Labour Party.
In 2024, he was appointed Chairman of the Delta State E-Sports Association, where he is driving the growth of a structured and scalable e-sports ecosystem through high-profile events, training programs, and economic development initiatives targeting youth and digital innovation.
Morris Monye holds a B.Eng. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin and has completed executive education in Accounting and Finance for Non-Finance Managers at Lagos Business School, Lagos State.
